Cetco Energy Services began in 1996 as CETCO Offshore, a division of ColloidEnvironmental Technologies Company. Our fluid treatment technology was first introduced in 1996 in the Gulf of Mexico for treatment of fluids from acid stimulation flow backs and well completions.
In 2003, CETCO Offshore became a separately incorporated entity of Amcol International (NYSE: ACO) and took the name CETCO Oilfield Services Company. The company has grown significantly, both through internal growth and acquisitions. The addition of services has grown out of the needs of our customers, and spurred by our company’s desire to link complementary technologies and processes. With this growth, a brand update became essential to allow our customers to better understand our offerings. In 2013, we took the name Cetco Energy Services.
Today Cetco Energy Services is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Amcol International. We operate out of 25+ locations worldwide and employ over 800 people.
